This Online Firefighter I and Haz-Mat Operations training course is a self directed (start today!), interactive, distance learning course that when successfully completed allows you to test for your IFSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress) certification for FFI and Haz-Mat Operations. The course curriculum covers all Firefighter and Haz-Mat knowledge and skill requirements.

If you are a self motivated, goal oriented student who enjoys being challenged then this is a great educational opportunity. If you are looking for an easy route to become a firefighter then this course is NOT for you.

Upon successful completion of this course a student will be authorized to take the State of Idaho Emergency Services Training and IFSAC practical skills and cognitive examinations. After passing the examinations the student will be awarded an IFSAC certificate, which is accepted in most states. These certification exams are used as basis for state licensure or certification in most states, or are honored with reciprocity during the licensure process.
